Wedding time.

Today I played a lovely wedding ceremony at the church in Tia’s called Candelaria. It’s an ancient old place that’s been added to over the years to make it the size it is today and while it’s big enough to hold maybe a hundred people the original part, now the alter, could have held no more than a hand full of people.

The thing that makes this church stand out is the wooden lining in the ceiling, an early recycling project as it uses the wood from various ships of yesteryear. The panneled ceiling has been cut and shunted to fit and the result, while a little rickety in places is quite spectacular.
The happy couple chose nice tunes. A mix of traditional with the Wedding March, to modern and On Eagles Wings.
